About the Quest

Sir Securalot is a retro medieval 2D browser game that teaches CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) concepts. Complete learning missions, collect scrolls, fight wolves and dragons, earn gear, and — if you conquer the full realm — pass the graduation trial to earn a shareable Scroll of Honor.

How you learn

  • Missions — NPC-led dialog with multiple-choice quizzes mapped to exam objectives
  • Scrolls — Optional lore pickups that reinforce key facts while you explore
  • Boss battles — Domain guardians gate progression to new regions
  • Quest journal — Missions, scrolls, objectives, map landmarks, and per-domain mastery
  • Practice exam — Weighted 30-question drill unlocked in Domain 5 (after slaying the Compliance Wyrm)
  • Graduation trial — A final 25-question exam (five per domain) once every boss, mission, and council rite is complete
  • Scroll of Honor — A personalized stat card in the journal Honor tab: scores, realm stats, and domain strength bars
  • Sharing — Download your scroll as an image; share your victory on X, LinkedIn, or Facebook

Path to the Scroll of Honor

  1. Clear all five domains — missions, scrolls, domain boss, and council ceremony in each
  2. Slay the Compliance Wyrm and complete High Council investiture
  3. Open the journal Graduation Trial and pass the final 25-question exam
  4. Unlock the Honor tab with your shareable card and social share options

The card shows your final trial score, weighted readiness, play time, combat stats, and strength across every SY0-701 domain — even domains where you scored 0% still appear on the scroll.
